Since I have a hard time deciding between a vanilla or chocolate frosty at Wendys you could imagine my indecisiveness while browsing through Lisa's beautiful shop. It was finally down to the Laundry Line necklace charms or the Sweetheart Tree necklace... or the Family Crest or the Wish... or the... all of Lisa Leonard's designs are so delightful! Then Lisa emailed me saying that I have to get the Laundry Line charms to match my blog header. That sealed the deal.

Cute sweaters, coats and boots always make me happy but also...my birthday is in the fall! Right at the end of October (but before halloween...which happens to be one of my fav holidays!) And I got the CUTEST hat and scarf from my sweet niece for my birthday this year...lucky me!
This probably sounds a little weird but the fall makes me happy because to me it signals a slow-down, I don't have to worry about summer vacations, trips here and there, what to do with the kids after school is finished etc. We take things slower, get into a routine, watch the leaves change and fall. I take time to reflect on the year and get ready for another hectic season...christmas.

what makes me happy this Fall? Well, my family. I love the changing of the leaves and the cooler weather, but this year I have had a renewed sense of appreciation for my family. My husband is overseas with the military, so I have learned to appreciate all he does and to take advantage of my time with our three kids.
I am happy being able to live this wonderful life God made just for me. I have an awe inspiring husband with 2 amazing little boys full of life and adventure. While my life can get pretty hectic, it's the life I was meant to enjoy and this makes me HAPPY!
