blissful day

Hope you had a great weekend!
Here's some pages using my Dear Lizzy goodies.
It's kinda funny to design pages with rub ons of my handwriting.
Can I let you in on a little secret... I'm not a huge fan of my own handwriting. (gasp) I honestly have always had to stretch myself to use it. Which just goes to show that it's quite natural to not appreciate our own chicken scratch. Let go of those insecurities and embrace it. That doesn't mean all of our journaling needs to be handwritten but just enough to leave a piece of us on our pages.
I've grown to love adding the unique touch of my handwriting and have learned to see past the worries of it ruining my pages to the sentimental factor it adds.
Love the phrase rub on, "follow you bliss" on pages of my girls. Incredible things can happen if we live by those simple words.

love the chipboard dresses... fab selection of Dear Lizzy at Blue Moon.

Happy Monday!

Lovely pages Liz! Must be a surreal feeling to use your own product on your pages, so cool. I have most of your product line on order, can't wait till it arrives to use on pages of my daughter, she's 10, but loves girly stuff, and your product will be perfect, I love all of it!

I understand exactly what your saying about our own handwriting :)! Nevertheless I love to come across something that a member of my family, that has passed on, has hand-written! A Treasure for sure!

I was so excited to see your Dear Lizzy products at the Columbus Ohio Scrapbook Expo in one of the booths. It was so fun to see it in person. It was also at the Columbus archivers. I picked up a few goodies and can't wait to design pages with the gorgeous embellishments.

Ah - such lovely pages! :) They're always brimming with cuteness - and the make me antsy to get my Dear Lizzy goodies & scrapbook with em! :) And I'm happy to hear I'm not alone in my aversion to my own handwriting, sometimes - it is so important to add that personal touch, though. :)
