guest blogging

I'm a guest blogger over at Ali Edward's blog.
I may or may not have jumped up and down when she wanted me to share my storytelling frames.

This is such a good solution to my Avery's dance competition memorabilia...and I'm always lookin' for an excuse to go to IKEA.

Seriously, this is absolutely the coolest wall art groupings I have ever seen. I will totally be creating my own family memory wall soon. This beats the usual yearly family photo on the wall that I've started! Love this, thanks for taking the time to post this!

Completely adore this! I had that same MS magazine and had started a "Scrapbox" about 2 weeks before I got the magazine. Then the ideas just came pouring out! We need a place to buy those boxes in bulk for a little cheaper price, IMO! ; )

love this idea! do you remember the name of the ikea frames?

I also saw this idea in MS Living and I wondered if I could find a less expensive solution. The scrapboxes Darcy used were $25 each. I loved your post on Ali's blog. (I only read 3 scrapbookers blogs-yours, Becky's , & Ali's. Can I also just say that Creating Keepsakes is not he same without all you guys!) Do you know the names of the IKEA frames you used because it seems like you have several sizes here? Do you know how much you spent? Were the frames white to begin with or did you paint them? I really want to do this idea on my huge empty family room wall and any more advice/help you could give would be greatly appreciated!

I totally love these! What an awesome idea!

Love this idea for my girls' rooms. But i can only hang one or two shadow boxes on the walls. Why? Because living in Puerto Rico we use cement to built our homes! It's very hard to drill holes & once you made them they become permanent fixtures- not a pretty sight! {LOL}

What a wonderful idea! Thanks Elizabeth . . . thanks Martha for the inspiration!

I love your story wall and also loved the wall in your booth at cha from the pictures that you posted. I'd love to see more detailed photos of those framed layouts, too. More Dear Lizzy layouts would be great in general. I have almost the entire collection and so far, it's too pretty to cut!!!

Love the frames - my daughter started college last fall - so hopefully I can complete a few of these for her before she comes home for the summer. What is the name of the frame and are they from IKEA? Thanks so much for a great idea. I too saw the article in MS but yours are more down to earth for all of us - that is a compliment.
Happy Spring!

Great post! I have posted some of the pics credited to you on my blog. hope you don't mind! The Pinkalicious frame was my favourite as it is my little girls favourite book too. Very freaky when i saw it as i don't know anyone else with this book in england (my hubby bought it back form a trip stateside!)
