a day late

Happy Easter... a day late!

We dyed eggs not only because the girls are always up for a colorful mess but I was craving deviled eggs. And usually my decisions revolve around whether or not there will be something good to eat. ;P

Recently Avery became very interested and curious about Jesus, after looking through a book of pictures we use to teach our primary class lessons. She was very concerned when she heard that people were mean and sad about his 'owies.' She loves him, our Savior.
This Easter I thought about His sacrifice. How His plan can be simple enough for a little girl to understand yet it is grand enough to save us all.

Happy Monday to you! Did you do anything fun?

very sweet share!! our Easter was spent on the golf course and turns out that playing golf with your hubby when he is having an "off day" is not so much fun, ha! mr. grouch rode around with me on the course! especially when his wife is having better luck ;) Luckily for me he came to his sense and got over his grouchiness and so the day turned out just fine. hehe Hugs from Conroe, TX!

I so appreciate you posting this on your blog. When i think about his sacrifice it makes me feel so loved and that he would love me so much that he was put himself into suffering for us! It also makes me think how much we need to give back to him by spreading his love! I hope you had a blessed Easter thinking of how much he loves you too! Thanks again!
