sucker for school supplies

What's more wonderful than a bouquet of freshly sharpened pencils? Okay, a lot of things actually. But I am definitely a sucker for school supplies--throw in a pint sized military jacket & mustache erasers and September couldn't come any quicker.
I thought I would be a little more freaked out about my oldest sprout starting kindergarten but I'm surprisingly *elated for her... mostly because I know she is going to love it.
*Give me another week and a half and I'll be a complete mess! !!

i'll be the same way come monday :( except we didnt make the birthday deadline, so Payton is only starting Pre-k. i was a mess when her school supply list came in the mail - couldnt pull away from the mailbox for about 5 minutes trying to get it back together.

my little baby girl just started kindergarten today. I was able to hold back the tears just long enough for her to not see me. lol. Our school even held a "boohoo" breakfast for all the crying mommies. But she had an awesome time and loves school. :0)

When I was little, buying school supplies was the highlight of my day. And now, well, let's just say I could drop $1,000 in five minutes flat in an office supply store.

And also I have those colored pencils from Anthro. I love them!

Hi
I would like to know if you will be teaching at Spark 3 this year? It would be a dream come true to come AND to meet you in person :)
Since english is not my first langage, I don't understand everything on the blog...
Thanks for answering

I always feel like I'm going to be a mess, but I remember how excited I am for my son to start a new chapter in his life and all of the wonderful things that he's learning. I'll say a lil prayer that you'll do great on the 1st day of kindie!! I know your baby will do great, you've taught her to be so strong and confident! :)

Do you remember that old Staples commercial of the parents dancing down the isles with "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" in the background?
