Since I have a hard time deciding between a vanilla or chocolate frosty at Wendys you could imagine my indecisiveness while browsing through Lisa's beautiful shop. This time of year I am thankful for so many things, but I love watching my daughter play in a big pile of leaves. There is noting but pure joy listening to those uninhibited giggles and belly laughs of a child. It makes all of life's troubles seem to disappear for a moment.
Fall brings Thanksgiving which brings time spent with extended family. That makes me happy! So do chilly days, colorful leaves and warm sweaters.

My little boy ran through the woods despite his newly diagnosed congenital heart defect, and his big brother found him a perfect bench on which to rest so that he could run again. That makes me happy.

Something that truly makes me happy...
I am in the kitchen preparing dinner and awaiting for the hubby to come home. Instead of hearing the usual scream, yell or whine. I waltz into my daughters rooms (one is 3 and one is 1) to find them SHARING and the oldest one helping the younger one get a toy that's out of reach. The hubby comes home with a kiss on my cheek. Poof, a perfect dinner (that I probably burnt) but its perfect because in that tiny moment life was perfect! That's my happiness....the perfect moments that make the whines all worth while!
I love spending time in the park, admiring the autumn views.

This past weekend was one of my favorite things about fall. We went for a hike as a family and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the leaves changing, seeing an awesome waterfall at the end of the hike and the cherry on top was experiencing it all with my family.

To me fall has always been about berry picking. I have happy memories of picking blueberries with my mom and grandma. Now as an adult, our neighborhood is full of wild blackberry bushes. My parents were in town for a visit a couple months ago and my father was on a mission to pick as many berries as he could to make his favourite blackberry jam!

What makes me happy this fall is being at home and all cozy with my family (being a full-time student allows me to pretty much get the same days off/vacation as my daughter...and I love it!). My hubby plays his video games, my daughter listens to her music, and I do all my crafty stuff. We each do something different, but it's even sweeter 'coz we're together when we do them.:)

Fall is my most favorite time of year. The crisp feeling in the air and the wearing my fuzzy warm sweaters. The things that makes me happy are named Ella and Jack. I love walking down the street, with the crunching leaves under my feet, to the bakery and getting a hot cinnamon roll. We love to go for walks in the fall and see all of the colors!
