smiling rainboots

Avery is on her fourth pair of rain boots in the 3 years of her adorable, little life. She's tromping around in her third pair of green froggie boots and one pair of kittie boots. All found at Target.
It must be the smiles looking up at her that she loves or the fashion statement with the bright colors or the fact that they keep her feet dry in these slushy months.
Nope, scratch that last one. She definitely doesn't like them for their functionality or usefulness.
It's gotta be the smiles.

I used the sequence of photos like the one above in one of my favorite pages from my book. It was also the first page I made for the book. The challenge was to use shaped photos on your page. I diecut all my photos using the Cricut and the Indie Art cartridge.
Happy Friday!
Picked up 3 boxes of Dear Lizzy supplies today after a meeting at American Crafts. So, I will be busy this weekend crafting away. Any fun plans?

I want to see more of that layout!!!!
My daughter is going through rainboots like there is no tomorrow. Lucky you to get to craft all weekend : )
I am still waiting to see if any of my LSS will be bringing it in. I might have to just order it online. It will be so worth it though.

Too cute! It never rains here! We always see cute boots in Target but to buy only to wear once or twice? (I would buy for my 3 girls but hubby might not like it! ha!) Love those big raindrops! I have that Indie cart.! I'm going to find some way to use those! =)

Super cute boots!

I just picked up some dear lizzy today! Of course, Archivers didn't have my favorite paper (Flowering Fields) for some reason, but I still bought enough for the weekend ;) I can't wait to see what you create!

That layout is super cute. I just got your (awesome) book in the mail the other day so was able to see it in full.
I have to find my little girl a cute pair of rain boots now. We live in (rainy) Vancouver BC and I'm trying to figure out why she doesn't have a stylish pair yet???

I just ordered a whole bunch of your products, although I had to order from two different stores online to get everything I wanted as some things were out of stock at each of the stores... I assume that means your stuff is going FAST! I can't wait to get everything and start working on a couple of new mini albums and my daughter's childhood scrapbook as well! Thanks for being so inspirational...and such a talented designer!!!

Too funny. Just got my 52 challenges book out this a.m. while waiting at the dr. and looked at this exact layout. I thought it was so cute that I would have to scraplift it! I have some super cute pics of my girls soaking wet and jumping in puddles during a rain shower. Perfect! Now how to get the raindrop shape without the cricut? hhmmm...

She is so cute! My plans are enjoying all my Dear Lizzy products! I picked up some of the line last week at Archiver's and went back today to get the rest... but shhh... don't tell my hubby! :-)

I have to tell you that I am FREAKING out over your new products! I LOVE them!! I've already made a few cards and my excitement is only growing for all the sweet details!

Enjoy your crafty weekend!

I LOVE the tear drops!! How did you cut them on your Cricut? I have one, but have never used it for pictures, only paper.
I found some Dear Lizzy stuff at Scrapbook Island in San Jose CA! I am so excited to use up the paper. I was very bummed they didn't have the ribbon and asked them to stock up. :)

These boots are sooooo sweet! no wonder she loves them :):)
You have to admit that you also buy things for their "smiles" and not always for their functionality ;)

Have a great week!
