Coming Along

...that's how I feel right now. Everything's coming along (slowly but surely) Christmas shopping, Avery getting over her little cold, Christmas cards, scrapbooking projects, & my Christmas journal.

This is such a simple, little album that I just add photos, journaling and a couple embellies to. That's why I love it! I had to laugh last night when Collin asked, "What's that for?"
"It's for me." I said
"It's for fun?" He asked all confused. :)

Love these tickets from Shabby Chic Crafts!! Veronica makes the cutest journaling spots and assortment of tags! Check them out!
They are also cute for presents.
Running off to a Christmas party with Creating Keepsakes at Lisa Bearnson's home. Any guesses who's name I drew for a present?? :) No pressure there, right? ;)

Her sneaky little fingers were so tempted to open the present early. :)

Absolutely adorable. Would you mind telling me how you get the photoshop affect in the first pics of Colin and the Christmas tree and Avery? I love the affect and have been trying to figure out how to do it for quite some time. You are always an inspiration!!

Thanks!

Avery looks like an angel in the last pic, not a peeker.
Glad you were able to work on something 'just for fun'!

I just found your blog! hard to believe since I've been a CK fan of yours for a long time now...love your pages and your daughters are beautiful!

I havent commented in a while and I just wanted to say a couple of things...first and foremost- your family just keeps getting more beautiful everytime I visit your page...I hope that when I have babies, and take their photos -their personalities are encaptured as well as you do with yours!!! Second Coldplay! Wow, I am SOO SOO JeaLOUS!!!! and last but certainly not least, your husbands post on his review for Twilight! Brilliant! I just saw Twilight here in S.Korea, and I really musts admit that some of the same feelings your hubs had about the movie, I had as well! It lacked a lot of things, and felt so much like a drawn out afterschool special about not dating vampires! :0) Well, Happy Holidays!

Elizabeth,

I don't visit your blog every day. I only come once in a while. I save you up. I make a BIG mug of coffee, or if its all cold and frostily outside, hot chocolate, and not the cheap powdery kind, then top it with REAL whip cream. Then I come for a good visit here.

Your marriage is such a ministry. I love that your husband joins you occasionally in commenting and giving the 'guy slant' to things.

I love that you give his side of things also, share your conversations. I can so relate to the way you capture it.

I love your photos, and your sense of humour, your positive outlook. You never use your blog as a grouch session. You share all the bits of brightness and goodness to make it a great place to come to.

thank you - wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.

Elizabeth,
I know that we have never met, but I think your blog and scrapbook style is soooo cute. I thought you posted a while back or perhaps it was printed in CK about how to do a blog header. Am I just dreaming or did this really happen. Is there any way that you could e-mail me or else make a note on your next post about my question? I know that your super busy and totally wouldn't blame you if you don't have time, so no worries about angry readers if you don't. Keep up the AWSOME work that you do and the fun posts.

Hello. I just wanted to say hi. I have been quietly "stalking" your blog for a while now b/c I love your photography and your sense of humor. I also am a subscriber to Creating keepsakes. It is one of my favorite magazines BUT do you know this is the first time I've put who you are with your blog and the magazine. I thought it was kind of funny so I thought I'd share it with you. I saw your husband in a layout in the Jan 09 epsiode and thought to myself that I've seen that guy somewhere, where could it have been? And then a picture of your husband jokingly posing in his version of those husbands doing chores came into my head and I saw your name at the bottom of the layout. I thought that's the guy from the blog I like to look at. Then I thought I wonder if she knows they published her layout, and thats when I realized yes she probably already knows, DAH!
