My favorite memory would be watching fireworks with my 3-year-old daughter. I will never forget her saying, "Mommy. I love fireworks. They look like big beautiful flowers. They make all my dreams come true."
She also met her father for the first time this summer. It has been bitter sweet. He is coming around after being absent for 3 years, and is realized what he has missed out on and how truly amazing she is. I hope for her sake that he sticks around and doesn't take her for granted!
Thanks for the chance at an awesome giveaway!

As a kid I loved dandelions blowing in the wind and catching fireflies. Now as a mom with kids in Phoenix we dont have them. I love our "staycations" spending the whole day at the pool and then movies at the pool when the sun goes down. Great question. Made me stop and think about what is important.

my favorite summer 2009 memory happened only a couple weeks ago when a tornado came whirling around our neighborhood....my husband was at work and i was at home with our 5 dogs, 2 hamsters, bird, fish...and TWO daughters. We all crammed into the laundry room....under the stairs....and my 7 years old told me that if anything happens...do NOT let go of her beta fish. That kid...she was so concerned about her sweet little defenseless fish...i just love her. I am sitting at my desk just giggling...because at a time that was so scary she brought humor....as she always does.

Just one? How about two. My favorite memory this summer is the last time I hugged and kissed my Grandma and smelled her aquanet hairspray, oil of olay moisturizer and felt her smooth cheek against mine when we hugged. She passed away unexpectedly 3 weeks later. I miss her terribly.

Now a happy one. My husband and I took our first ever vacation away from out 2 1/2 year old son. Our welcome home from him was the stuff happiness is made of. I've never felt more emotions at once. Happy to be home, sad to have missed even one day of his life, grateful to be his mommy, thankful for a safe and wonderful trip. The list goes on and on.

Thanks as always for the great give aways.

Lazy mornings with my kids are the best. Way better than the busy ones when school is in.

I love those big slides. I think I have a picture at the bottom of those slides from every year! I think one of my favorite summer memories (this summer) would have to be a camping trip with just my own little family. It's fun to go with the big family group but I had forgotten how fun it was to just camp with my husband and kids!

Favorite summer memory 2009 --- Our family reunion. All my relatives from the east Coast flew to CA for 1 week. It was a blast. We totally enjoyed the entire time we're spending time.
Thanks for the chance!

My favorite summer memory is getting a kite in the air and keeping it in the air. The entire family was delighted!
( It was our third trip with a third kite. I didn't take a camera because I didn't think I would need it. )

My fave summer memory is dining outside. We live in a cul de sac and have great neighbors so eating in our front yard, the back yards, the pool and just about all over the neighborhood has been a great way to enjoy the late summer nights.

My favorite summer memory has been moving into our new house. We FINALLY have a backyard for my little guy. Seeing him run out to play in the grass was the best. Dylan (the little guy) came over to me and gave me a big hug and ran off. It was so precious!

My favorite memory this summer so far has been going to a temple open house for our church. I was able to take my kids and it was cool just to see the wonder and awe in their faces as we explained to them what temples meant to our family.

We are yet to have Summer (not until later in the year here in Australia.)
But last Summer it was visiting a local beach that we had never been to before with sand that stretched on forever and watching the kids run around! The best bit was knowing this beautiful spot was so close to where we live!

My favorite summer holiday moment so far has been a day spent at my unlces organic fruit ranch with my son. My son (15months) ate his weight in the freshest berries and was covered head to toe in dirt and a huge smile. I took a mere 500 photos.....499 were keepers!

My favorite memory of this summer was seeing all my kids and their kids in the same summer. As we live in four different areas of the country, this was somewhat of an accomplishment and one that does not happen frequently.

My favorite summer memory is riding in the combine with my dad. I had terrible allergies, but would go anyways. I had to bring one of his hankies with because I would sniffle the entire time. It was so worth it!
